Microwave Brown Rice

Steps

  1. Wash the rice thoroughly
  2. Combine rice, water, salt, and butter (if using) in a very large and deep bowl or casserole dish. Make sure the bowl is microwave safe
  3. Microwave on High for 5 minutes.
  4. Microwave on %50 power for 15 minutes.
  5. Fluff with a fork.
  6. Freeze leftovers in the freezer and microwave 1-2 minutes for leftovers
