Mongolian Pork

Steps

  1. Toss Pork in cornstarch: In a medium mixing bowl, add the pork and cornstarch. Toss until evenly coated.
  2. Cook Pork: Heat the olive oil on a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add pork, cooking on one side for 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes, until pork is fully cooked. Remove pork.
  3. Add Aromatics: Set the heat on the same skillet to medium. Add Minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir frequently until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Make sauce: Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and water. Mix until combined. Bring to a simmer
  5. Add Pork: Return pork to skillet. Mix until combined. Let sit for another 3-5 minutes or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
  6. Add final flavors: Mix in Sesame oil, if using.
  7. Add green onions on top.

Serve with rice and stir-fry vegetables.
