Roasted Broccoli

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 425F°F; set the oven rack to the top third of the oven.
  2. On a large baking sheet, cut the broccoli florets into bite sized pieces (you may need to cut larger florets in half). Lay out florets on the baking sheet, leaving space between all of them. Discard the stem.
  3. Drizzle olive oil, then sprinkle over with garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper.
  4. Place broccoli in the top rack on the oven and bake for 8 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and rotate all broccoli pieces. If the broccoli is looking dry, drizzle with a bit more olive oil.
  6. Place back in the oven for another 5-8 minutes.
