Steps
- Bring the water, lemon peel, ginger, turmeric, cayenne, and black pepper to a minimal simmer.
- Maintain a low simmer for 7 minutes. Don't let bubble or boil, as it can harm the nutrients.
- Take off the heat and squeeze in the lemon juice and stir in the coconut oil and honey.
- Strain the tea into a container or a cup. Tea in a closed container kept in the refrigerator will keep up to 3 days.
